Seat lowering adapters Mazda MX5 NC FL facelift

Lowering adapter kit for both seats for Facelift Mazda MX-5 NC 2-3 FL models allows to significantly lower the driver and passenger seats. The plates lower the seats by about 25 mm and will significantly improve seat comfort (much better seat angle!), prevent diving under the steering wheel during hard braking and eliminate the problem of the helmet hitting the frame of the closed roof. In addition, they will be an indispensable addition for tall MX-5 NC FL users who do not fit in a car with a closed roof.

MX-5 FACELIFT version (NC2,NC3 from 2009) and for seat with height adjustment seats (NC1 <2009).

The lowering kit for both Mazda MX-5 NC FL seats includes:
- 4 stainless steel plates laser cut, CNC bent, threaded holes to ensure maximum lowering.
- 8 nuts (grade 8.8), 8 washers

Installation:

1. disconnect the battery

2. remove the seats from the car - unscrew the bolts securing the seat to the floor, disconnect the plugs from the harness

3. unscrew the driver's seat mounts, remove rivets (drill out) from the rear passenger seat serial mounts.

4. shorten the two rails of the driver's seat. Cut lines : 5 mm from the last hole.

5. screw new lowering plates. Bent ones for the driver's seat, flat ones for the passenger's seat.

6. mount the seats using the stock mounting screws.
