Seat lowering brackets adapters Mazda MX-5 NC

The Mazda MX-5 NC 1 (prelift 2005-2008) seat lowering adapter kit allows you to lower the driver and passenger seats significantly. The lowering brackets reduce the seats height by about 25 mm and significantly improve seat comfort (much better seat angle!), prevent diving under the steering wheel during hard braking and eliminate the problem of hitting sport helmet into the frame of the closed roof while on track.

Fits: Mazda MX-5 pre-lift version (NC1 2005-2008) , for seats without seat height adjustment.

Our seat lowering adapter kit for Mazda MX-5 NC contains:

- 4 laser-cut stainless steel plates
- 8 bolts (class 8.8), 8 washers

Product designed for professional use - track use only.

Installation:

1. Disconnect the battery
2. remove the seat from the car - unscrew the four screws securing the seat to the floor, disconnect the plug from the harness
3. Drill out two rivets out of the standard rear mountings for each rail.
4. Screw in the new lowering plates on the underside (see pictures). Important - head of the bolt must point upwards (rail side) . The washers should be installed from both sides.
5. Install the seat using the stock fastening screws
6. Enjoy your lower and better seat possition in your MX-5 NC!
